Web Design Project for McMaster University
For this class project, I was responsible for creating a completely original design for an existing brand. Rather than replicating existing assets or code, I independently developed every aspect of the project from scratch. This included designing all images using Adobe Photoshop's pen tool and Illustrator's vector tools, as well as coding the entire project in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. The goal was to redesign the product in a way that maintained the original's professional aesthetic, but the result was entirely my own work, both in design and execution.
The focus of this project was on creating vector and SVG images that would enhance web performance. Each image was manually re-drawn, resulting in a visually consistent outcome with the original concept, but produced independently to stand as a distinct and separate work. The coding and design process demonstrated my ability to create an original, responsive design while adhering to brand aesthetics.
